I watch Dr. Vanita Rattan on YouTube and her line of skin care includes sunglasses like these that fully cover the eye area and sides. Her sunglasses are always sold out and they are pricey. However, these ones cover all the areas that she recommends you cover to avoid melasma.Additionally, I love wearing these while driving. The sun always gets into the sides of all other sunglasses but these block the sides so I'm never squinting or trying to reposition my head to avoid the sun while driving. I wore these on a weekend road trip to Monterey Bay and they were awesome! They do look a little futuristic but I don't really care. I like the look and the price is right! These are inexpensive and are not built as sturdy as say Oakley sunglasses but I don't think you can expect high quality sun glasses at this price.
